Our volunteers commit to approximately 3 hours a week, unless listed as a sub. Each day a team of five volunteers work together to pick the food up from San Antonio Regional Hospital, bring the food back to the First Presbyterian Church of Upland – our generous in-kind sponsor for allowing us the use of their kitchen – and package the food into individual meals, deliver the meals and clean the kitchen. Our teams consist of the following volunteer job descriptions with one of the team members being the Team Leader:
- Driver (2)
- Runner (2)
- Cleaner (1)
Upland Meals on Wheels has the opportunity to volunteer in other ways as well. We need help in our committees for fundraising, social media, and website management.
